From Nov.22th, the raw alumina price drops a lot. So white corundum price is lower accordingly. In the meantime, there is a low demand for white corundum on the user end. Some of the white corundum manufacturers in China begin to offer lower prices to promote sales.
This week, the price of raw Al2O3 powder is getting down more and affecting WFA price. The cost of fused alumina blocks drops. As a result, the price of WFA section sand is lower than last week. On the other hand, many WFA plants in China have less intention to purchase WFA blocks.
Last week, The raw material alumina price decrease slightly. So the function to support the price of WFA is weakening.
