White Fused Aluminum Oxide 320# is a good lapping powder for grinding piezoelectric ceramic atomization discs. White fused alumina 320# is a kind of aluminum oxide powder made from a fusing process. It gains high hardness and grinding power.

Ceramic & microporous atomization discs are commonly used parts in spray electronic equipment. They can convert liquid water into tiny water droplets and spray out in the form of water vapor. Thus, it achieves water atomization. The atomization discs are key components in humidifiers, negative oxygen ion oxygen bars, garden atomization, and medical atomization equipment. The material of the atomization discs is usually alumina, zirconia, or bismuth sodium titanate ceramic. The atomization disc has two parts: piezoelectric ceramic sheets and metal films. The metal film sticks to the piezoelectric ceramic by welding. Before welding, manufacturers need to make the surface of the atomization disc rough to get the metal film to stick firmly. As a result, it can prevent short circuits caused by contact with the electrode after water vapor atomization, liquid accumulation, and precipitation.

Piezoelectric ceramics and ceramic atomizers have high hardness and high brittleness. For piezoelectric ceramics, the conventional grinding material is green silicon carbide. However, for the rough treatment of atomized tablets, using white corundum micro powder is more suitable.
