What is the heavy metal content of white fused alumina powder?
White fused alumina powder is divided into water-washed white fused alumina powder and air-classified white fused alumina powder. The production process of suspension treatd WFA powder includs chemical treatment and a water-washing overflow process. As a result, it gains low iron residue, high purity, and good flowability. Furthermore, water-washed white fused alumina micro powder undergoes prolonged washing with pure water. That results in exceptionally low heavy metal content. Testing revealed the following heavy metal content in our company’s water-washed white fused alumina micro powder:
Cadmium (Cd): 2 ppm
Lead (Pb): 2 ppm
Mercury (Hg): 2 ppm
Hexavalent Chromium (CrVI): 8 ppm
WFA powder with low heavy metal content is suitable for grinding and wear-resistant media in food machinery, pharmaceutical containers, and other products. It provides the advantage of virtually no pollution.
