White Fused Alumina manufacturing in China

This month, the white fused alumina manufacturing in China is lower than last month. There are 207 sets of white fused alumina smelting furnaces all over China. In November of 2021, there are about 150 sets were under inspection. The overall production rate of the market was 26.09%, with a decrease of 5.26%. Among them, the production rate in Henan Province was 35.43% decreasing by 6.25%; The production rate in Shandong Province was 6.76%. The operating rate in other regions was 66.67%, equaling to last week.

The total weekly output of 207 white fused alumina capacity in China was 8576.47 tons, the capacity utilization rate is 27.03%, and the weekly ring ratio decreased by 12.74%. Among them, the output of Henan Province was 7328.24 tons, the capacity utilization rate is 44.43%, and the week on month ratio decreased by 13.10%; The output of Shandong Province was 852.94 tons, the capacity utilization rate is 5.82%, and the week on month ratio decreased by 14.71%; The output of other regions was 395.29 tons, and the capacity utilization rate was 66.66%, unchanged on a week-on-week basis.

Domestic white-fused alumina manufacturing in China continued to show a downward trend. In the meantime, the market supply showed a sharp decline year on year. However, the power supply recovery in Shandong Province will help to make capacity higher.  But still, it is unlikely that manufacturing capacity recover recently. Therefore, on the whole, the supply of domestic white corundum market will continue to be low in the short term.
