White alox powder for lost wax precise casting

White alox powder for lost wax precise casting is a refractory powder with proper particle range. Its main chemical is Al2O3. And it’s a kind of electrocorundum powder. In the production of precision casting, refractories have a great influence on the casting accuracy. Especially for surface materials, it is not only necessary to have high fire resistance temperature, but also need to have good fluidity, high density and appropriate particle size distribution.

White alox powder is artificial corundum made of aluminum oxide powder made of electrolytic aluminum and melted at high temperatures. The main components of White alox powder are α Crystalline alumina. The surface coating prepared by electrofusion white corundum powder and silica sol or ethyl silicate adhesive can meet the requirements of investment casting in terms of fire resistance temperature, particle size range and fluidity.

Firstly, the proportion of White alox powder is significant, which is 3.95g/cm3, which is conducive to its fluidity in the coating. In addition, 40 micron white alox and 20 micron white alox powder can be used as the shell substrate after pickling and water washing. The fluidity is better than the particle size sand of abrasive grade, which is conducive to the uniform coverage of the coating on the wax mold. At the same time, it also makes up for the disadvantages caused by the irregular particle size of white alox powder.
Secondly, the raw material of white alox powder is Al2O3 powder with high purity and low impurity content. After pickling, the residual iron is very low (max 0.05%) by a suspension treatment. In the meantime, the pH value can also reach neutral. The low magnetic content of fused white corundum can avoid the occurrence of black spots and other defects.
Thirdly, white alox powder is a kind of wear-resistant, fire-resistant and abrasive material with a wide range of uses. The particle size of production is complete. By mix white alox grain and powder, it can get a proper particle range. That range is wider than the aluminum oxide powder for lapping. It is more suitable for lost wax casting.
Finally, the cost of white alox powder is much lower than that of zircon sand. It has advantages in cost and is suitable for large-scale use.
