WFA F80 is a type of abrasive material. The main chemical of WFA F80 is artificial corundum with excellent grinding capability.  It offers several advantages when used for blasting agricultural machinery blades:

1. High hardness and cutting ability

WFA abrasive grain has a high hardness on the Mohs scale (around 9). In the meantime, the self-sharpening ability is superior. It can make grinding edges in the process of grinding. This hardness allows WFA F80 to effectively remove various types of contaminants, rust, and old coatings from the surface of agricultural machinery blades. For example, it can quickly cut through the thick rust layer that forms on the blade surface due to long – term exposure to the humid and corrosive agricultural environment.
The sharp edges of the F80 particles can dig into the surface irregularities of the blade, facilitating the efficient removal of adhered dirt and scale. It helps to restore the blade’s original smoothness and functionality.

2. Uniform particle size

WFA sandf with grit F80 indicates a relatively uniform particle size distribution. This uniformity ensures a consistent blasting effect across the entire surface of the agricultural machinery blade. When blasting, a uniform particle size helps to create an evenly textured surface finish.
It reduces the risk of over – blasting in some areas and under – blasting in others. For instance, if the particle size is inconsistent, larger particles may cause excessive material removal in certain spots, while smaller particles may not be able to effectively clean other areas, leading to an uneven surface quality.

3. Low dust generation

Compared to some other abrasive materials, WFA F80 generates relatively less dust during the blasting process. This is beneficial for the working environment, as it reduces the inhalation risk for operators and also minimizes the need for extensive dust – collection systems.
Less dust also means that the visibility during the blasting operation is better, allowing operators to have a clearer view of the blade surface and ensure accurate blasting. In addition, it reduces the amount of waste generated during the process, which is more environmentally friendly.

4. Stable chemical properties

White fused aluminum oxide F080 has good chemical stability and does not react with most chemicals. When grinding agricultural machinery blades, even if encountering some corrosive materials or working environments, the grinding powder will not be corroded, thus ensuring the stability of the grinding process and the consistency of the grinding effect. This also makes white fused alumia blasting media suitable for grinding agricultural machinery blades in various working conditions.

5. Recyclable

WFA F80 can be reused multiple times. After the initial blasting operation, the abrasive particles can be recovered, cleaned, and reused for subsequent blasting jobs. This reusability significantly reduces the overall cost of the blasting process for agricultural machinery blade manufacturing or maintenance.
