The main component of white fused corundum is Al2O3, which is a product of fused corundum produced by melting high-purity alumina powder at high temperature in an electric arc furnace (melting temperature is up to 2050 degrees). Then after solidifying, agglomerating, cooling, it forms high purity fused corundum blocks. Due to the high-temperature melting production process, alumina is mainly transformed into the crystal form of α-Al2O3. White Fused corundum for Foundry has good toughness, high thermal resistance, and high chemical stability.
In addition, the fused corundum produced by our company has low sodium content and good thermal performance. White Fused corundum for Foundry is always used for corundum casting paint, foundry coating, and can also be directly used as shell-molding substrate material and shell-molding spay sand for precision casting.

The raw material for the production of foundry coatings: High cleanness, fewer impurities, and good dispersion.
Precision casting shell surface sand, shell mold casting shell molding, lost foam casting, molding sand casting, etc.: Large particle size range can be adjusted according to different casting processes. Low-sodium fused corundum can replace zircon sand, saving casting costs.

Q: Are you a manufacturer or trading company?
A: We are a manufacturer of white fused alumina. HAIXU Abrasives has white aluminum oxide manufacturing experience of 22 years. We produce WFA section sand, WFA grains, WFA powder, etc.
Q: Are the WFA grains you get is produced from a Tilting furnace or a Fixing furnace?
A: Our WFA grains F8-F220 are produced from fixing furnaces. Fixing furnace WFA is of higher toughness and more durable.
Q: What is the content of Na2O of your WFA grains?
A: We have normal Sodium WFA grain and low Sodium WFA grain. Normal WFA grain Na2O content is max. 3% which is lower than most competitors. Low sodium WFA grain Na2O content is max.0.1%.
Q: Do you have a MOQ of WFA grain?
A: Generally no limit of MOQ. Even 25kgs(1 bag)is ok for us. But the logistic cost will be higher than normal.
Q: What substrate is the WFA grain blasting for?
A: WFA grain works well for Aluminum alloy, stainless steel, glass, acrylic, etc.
Q: What is the lead time of FCL WFA grain?
A: Generally 7-10 days after receiving the deposit.
