WFA powder for ceramic industry

WFA powder (WA fine powder or white fused alumina powder) is not only an excellent grinding and wear-resistant material, but also plays an important role in the field of ceramics. The application scenarios of WFA powder in the ceramic field mainly include:

1. WFA powder is a good filler for alumina ceramics to produce alumina based ceramics. The typical use is to make ceramic filter plates for mineral processing. Besides,white fused alumina 400mesh,500mesh,600mesh are suitable for industrial alumina ceramic filter membranes.  This application focuses on the chemical properties, temperature, wear resistance, and good chemical erosion resistance of alumina.

2. WFA fine powder can be used as a raw material for steel filter screens and polishing ceramics in the casting industry. The temperature for pouring and filtering molten steel exceeds 1000 degrees. Thus, the filtering material to have strong heat resistance and not be corroded by steel slag.

3. WFA powder with 600 mesh and 800 mesh is suitable for making alumina insulated ceramic parts. This is because WFA has good insulation properties, is non-conductive, and has good chemical inertness.

4. WFA powder 240mesh is an excellent isolation material for sintering precision ceramics. WA powder can withstand the high temperature of high-temperature sintering process and has good thermal conductivity. At the same time, it will not undergo volume deformation. Therefore, it can prevent the adhesion between ceramic parts and sintering materials, and will not expand and cause deformation of ceramic parts.
