The advantage of Blasting media White Aluminum oxide F120

Blasting media white aluminum oxide F120( White corundum 120 grit) is an artificial abrasive media. It can meet the requirements of high sandblasting efficiency, high durability, low residue, and corrosion resistance of coatings.

There are several advantage of Blasting media White aluminum oxide F120:

Firstly, the crystal phase of white aluminum oxide F120 is alpha alumina with corundum phase. It has high hardness and strong grinding ability.

Secondly, white corundum F120 sand has low silicon and iron content and does not produce residual magnetic substances. That is beneficial for the oxidation resistance of sandblasted surfaces and prevents black spots.

Again, the conductivity of white corundum blast media is less than 200 US/cm, and the chloride content is less than 25 ppm. That meets the requirements of ISO 11127 standard. It can improve the corrosion resistance of sandblasted coatings.

Fourthly, more than 65% of the particle size of white aluminum oxide F120 is 90-125um. It meets FEPA’s requirements for abrasive particle uniformity. After sandblasting, consistent surface roughness can be obtained.
